I will be travelling to the Middle East in a month, and I will probably be going all over the place. How strict are they as far as alcohol goes? I know that in Saudi Arabia alcohol is strictly banned, but what about these places: Lebanon Qatar Bahrain Kuwait Oman Yemen. I also hear that while many of these countries get some money from oil, that Yemen is VERY poor. is this true? In Kuwait, you won't find any alcohol, legally (illegally it is very difficult even for locals) - dry country period. Bahrain, Qatar, & Oman sell alcohol in hotels and airports.
