Conservatives terrified of lame duck session
(You may not understand how we can say "Obama" has anything to do with what Congress does during a still-hypothetical lame duck session, but Peggy Noonan has taught us that the president is America's Dad, even though Obama is more like America's boring, stupid math teacher or something.) John Boehner was crying about the fact that Democrats might try to pass some bills relating to various things while they are still serving their constitutionally mandated terms in office. Dick Armey's Freedom Works has, of course, a "No Lame Duck" petition. And Charles Krauthammer, who, apparently, is supposed ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Are the paralegals providing their work pro bono? If so, I would see no reason not to, if not I see many green reasons why. posted 3 months ago Business Attorney, problem solver, bottom line watcher, risk manager. Linking only with shared interests, please. see all my answers First, I'm not sure why you assume pro bono providers don't use paralegals. Or perhaps I'm not understanding your question. Second I'm not sure why you think bar associations are pro bono providers. They often maintain lists of attorneys who provide pro bono services, but they are usually not the providers themselves. Help me with Web / IT consulting and billable time. Consulting firms make their money on billable hours - what percentage of a 40 hour work week needs to be billable for different roles within the company? I work for what I'll call for neutrality's sake a "web shop", though it fancies itself a consulting firm as we do things by the billable hour. I've worked in the industry before, but I really don't know what sorts of things are "relatively standard / commonplace" in the industry. My google-fu almost exclusively finds me stuff on lawyers, so here comes my request for help... We have developers, designers ...
