I for one did not drink at all until I turned 21 and even then it was on a very rare occasion (mostly with family during the holidays or special occasions). I’m torn on this law because on one hand I find it infuriating that our politicians assume an 18yr old is responsible and coherent enough to enter contracts, vote and/or give his life to the military, yet somehow can’t make a rational decision when it comes to having a beer at dinner.
