Court asked to dismiss estate civil suit
The attorney for Mayo Royal, a Newnan certified public accountant, has filed a motion for summary judgment in a long-running civil case involving the city of Newnan, the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society, and other local parties over a contested multimillion-dollar estate. Royal's court motion is asking that the Coweta County Superior Court dismiss the lawsuit. He is also asking the court for at least $2,500 to pay for filing the motion.
