Regardless of how much time a gdl holder has remaining on her or his permit or provisional license, s/he must abide by these requirements beginning May 1st. So even if I got my permit around Nov 11 (When i was allowed to start 6 hours passed school test) to get my permit Wait 6 months- May 11 I would still have to follow the new law right? Even if i got my pro license that day may 11? (because it after may 1st law takes place) My aunts are blaming me because i started my hours late and would have to follow the law now...
