Currently, I have a name for the non-profit organization I am eager to start this summer; and I am in the process of selecting a Board of Directors. I also formulated organizational by-laws and I am looking to file tax-exempt status with my state and federal governments. My question is: should I incorporate first and formulate "Articles of Incorporation" to protect assets?
