HR 101 - Internal Communication
whom you’re trying to reach (audience); what you want them to think, feel, or do differently (messages); how you’re going to reach them (medium); and most important, how you’re going to know whether you successfully accomplished what you set out to do (measurement) The answers to these questions will differ from organization to organization, but these elements should be part of every communication strategy for any communication effort. Personally, I wonder if the lines are blurring, and not only between PR and internal communications, but between PR and marketing. W e’re all after more dialogue, more ... market research, surveys and trends
PR Conversations » Benita Steyn on Strategy and Public Relations
It is not easy to escape the thought that the concept of an emergent strategy could in itself be an oxymoron… and a similar doubt might also apply to what you define as implementational strategy. I find it difficult to conceive a strategy which is not deliberate and which does not clearly lead to a tactical implementation phase. Of course, in defining and deciding such strategy one needs to leave ample room for adjustments, emerging risks and unexpected opportunities,as you correctly say. But this is precisely one of the truly strategic (yes! in this case!) roles of pr, inasmuch as listening carefully to stakeholders ... market research, surveys and trends

CCM 2010 Annual Conference
had no problem keeping my attention.  His presentation was about the psychological barriers that stand between you and a “yes” to your ideas, proposals and initiatives. Woo is Moussa’s idea-selling process, and a way of leading.  I appreciated Moussa’s presentation style … easy, smart and laced with stories, research findings and humor.  “Depressed people are more in touch with reality than most of us,” Moussa started out, and proceeded to take us on a journey through the complexities of persuasion.  There are five barriers we face when trying to persuade, he said.  Two are related to you (relationship and credibility) and ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
V3 … the Power of Synergistic Leadership | Sam Silverstein
Values, veneration and vision are the three elements of quality leadership. Used individually, your organization can expect to see a minor impact. Used together, these concepts create a powerful synergistic force that can turn failing organizational environments into profitable and marketable companies. This synergistic force is the difference between the organization that will be going out of business and the one that will dominate and lead the industry into the next millennium. Using values, veneration and vision, you can create a synergy within your company that will enable your employees to achieve higher levels of ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

13 WTHRMayor proposes cuts in public safety to fill $50M gap
Indianapolis - Mayor Greg Ballard presented his budget to the City-County Council Monday night, even sparking some protests. The mayor gave his budget announcement to about half of the council after most of the Democrats walked out. Several members of the clergy were in attendance, not to hear about the budget, but to protest. "Leaders understand this, that if a thing is working, we keep working. If it is not working, we change it. I think the mayor is at a point where he needs to make a change and that change needs to be with the public safety director," said one of the clergy. Public safety, one of the cornerstones ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Is the Call Center Industry Advisory Council certification worth ...
This is a question for HR representatives, recruiters and senior management in call center industries. I believe that these would, most likely, be the best to answer the question: The Call Center Industry Advisory Council ( offers certifications for management roles such as the Operations Manager and Strategic Leader positions. These certifications are, supposedly, industry sanctioned. Obviously, the CIAC claims that they are worth getting. In the past, I have had experience with certifications that are worth less than the paper they are printed on and am unsure about this certification as well. ...
WikiAnswers - What is some information about the invention of the ...
Other contributors have said "When was the Internet invented?" is the same question as "What is some information about the invention of the internet?". Many people think that the Internet is a recent innovation, when in fact the fundamental ideas behind the Internet have been around for over a quarter century. The development of what we now call the Internet started in 1957 when the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1, the first satellite, beating the United States into space. The powers behind the American military at the time became highly alarmed as this meant that the USSR could theoretically launch bombs ...
