I hold a 5 year Bachelor's Degree in Applied and Environmental Geology. I have later taken a 5 month GIS intensive course (210 hrs). I have worked in environmental GIS projects, but now I'm working for 3 years in the Oil fields for a Mudlogging company, first as a Mudlogger and now as a Data Engineer. My question relates to fact that I'm now 31 years old and I'm starting to wonder if I'm too old already to get a Master's Degree...will an oil company hire me afterwards or will they discard me for not being yonger?
