I hope spring is opening exciting new things for everyone! This month’s article at the end of news & announcements concerns the influence of the moon and its phases on paranormal activity. Surprise: the full moon may not have the effect you might think! News and announcements Throughout May I am spending a great deal of time in one of my favorite haunted cities, Salem, MA, to do research for my book on the ghosts of Salem ( Stackpole Books ) and to give weekly lectures at the brand-new Omen center, created by Christian Day , the proprietor of the Hex shop in town. Christian, one of Salem’s leading Witches, and I are ...

TAPSCON is really a Brent “Con” Fair Event! |
I recently interviewed a gentleman named Marc Tetlow who is the owner of Ideal Event Management. According to Mr. Tetlow, Ideal Event Management is the “booking agent” for the members of TAPS that were present at the 2008 TAPSCON conference. Mr. Tetlow is still the “booking agent” that represents TAPS for conferences and lectures across the country. At this time Marc says that “Ideal Event Management” is not associated with Odyssey Star Productions Inc.” Odyssey Star Productions is Brent Fairs company and according to Mr. Tetlow “Odyssey Star is the owner of TAPSCON 1 and 2.” According to Marc Tetlow “his clients (TAPS) ... market research, surveys and trends
Ghost Train Adventure » T.A.P.S. investigates the haunted Castle ...
and their fun-loving team of paranormal investigators have traveled the globe attempting to gather evidence of hauntings.  Most of the hardcore viewers realize the TAPS crew will often debunk stories of apparitions and strange sightings and rarely term a location “haunted”. Since the TAPS members were NOT taping for TV that night, they did not set up multiple cameras and conduct a full-scale investigation.  However, that didn’t mean the spirits were at ease.  Several guests felt nausea and tingling sensations at the top steps of the third floor landing…one guest reported seeing a shadowy presence run off ... market research, surveys and trends

Responding to media skeptics: Dislike, but don't dismiss ...
As you may have noticed, there are just a few reality-TV paranormal investigative shows out there. They do pretty well on cable, ratings-wise, and the genre remains healthy enough for a new one with a different gimmick to pop up every month or so. We have ghost shows about animals, kids, students and cops - and it's only a matter of time before audiences are treated to a paranormal pre-school show. The point is, these shows are put together by production companies and picked up by networks because there is enough interest to create a trend, and everyone in the entertainment industry (wisely) wants to ride the wave on a ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Every so often, Tiffany pops by to share some wisdom, talk about pop-culture and discuss her role in the paranormal community. Psychic Tiff Suggests: So I watched Angels & Demons the other night, and based on the title, it seemed right up my psychic alley. But not so much. I didn't feel it. I kinda get the "Angels" thing, but the "Demons"? That part was severely lacking. John Zaffis would have been like, "WTF?" Meanwhile, I LOVED G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra . Frankly, if it's a comic-turned-movie, I'm in. X-Men , Fantastic Four , Blade : You name it, I'm there. Tiffany will be ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Clairvoyant CC 'The Huntress' Carole probes 1918 murder
It’s been 92 years since Jaffrey doctor William Dean was killed by an unnamed assailant in his home, but Merrimack paranormal investigator CC Carole hopes an upcoming Monadnock ghost hunt will turn up a few clues about his unsolved murder. A “Police and Paranormal” program set for 4 p.m. to midnight Friday, Aug. 13, will include a round-table discussion at the Monadnock Inn in Jaffrey as well as a visit to the Monadnock Region murder site and a trip to the Rindge Historical Society to look over Dean’s sleigh and coat for clues. “Here is your chance to weigh in on an unsolved murder,” said Carole said of the suspicious death that ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
Tuesday Morning Quarterback begins his annual NFL preview by breaking down the AFC
The National Football League is all about running the ball, right? That's what you hear. Yet for two consecutive seasons, the last-ranked rushing team made the Super Bowl -- Arizona in 2008 and Indianapolis in 2009 reached the ultimate game despite having the league's worst rushing offense those seasons. True, both lost, but 30 of the 32 NFL franchises gladly would have traded places with the team that lost the Super Bowl. And last season, the AFC's two best teams, winning the first-round byes -- San Diego and Indianapolis -- were 31st and 32nd overall, respectively, in rushing. Thus you don't have to run the ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

What's Your Ideal Scenario?
Even in such uncertain times as recession, while so many business owners struggle, those who build their business *by design*, succeed. They experience even higher profits. Lucky? Sure! -- Luck favors prepared people! A while ago I worked with a very talented painter. His goal was to get more private buyers for his expensive art pieces. I asked who was his ideal client. He said that he didn't care who the buyers were, as long as they could afford to buy his art. I asked if he liked the idea of selling his paintings to some Mafioso interested only in the opportunity to launder money from selling drugs. He didn't ...
