I recently participated on a panel at the 2010 Bloomberg Health and America Briefing in Chicago on the challenges of implementing health care reform. My part of the event was on the patient experience now and in the future. I thought I would share some of the observations I made there. How happy are patients with the care they receive? In general, they are actually pretty happy. More than nine out of 10 patients rate their inpatient care as good or very good on a scale of very poor to very good.
