Hi David: Very few requirements. Need to go to the UPC website, register, obtain a 5 digit company code then set up each product individually. Will also receive a 5 digit code for each product. The first digit and last are generated by the system, the first being a start digit showing the category and the last a check digit calculated by the system. May be some small fee's involved...it has been a few years since I set up a new UPC for someone...Hope this helps David.
