Trying To Adapt After Iraq
and ADHD. i have struggled my whole life to find my place; or at least a place to feel comfortable. and have never found it. it caused me to make brash decisions in my past. i am a former soldier and was a medic for an infantry platoon which means i was shot at alot and saw more gore than i ever wanted. since my return from iraq. i find joy in nothing, i never feel happy, i become stressed to the point of breaking down at the drop of a dime. i feel angry, violent, and ashamed all at the same time. i was recently released from military service. i thought things would get better when the stress of still being military was gone ... market research, surveys and trends

NVF News - News
John Pace stumbled to his car, slipped Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" into the compact disc player and turned the key. Five years as a military police officer, time in South Korea, a tour of duty in Afghanistan and multiple deployments in Iraq had all come to this: a drunken 23-year-old combat vet behind the wheel, determined to find another bottle to empty onto his pain. Pace broke a window at a local TGI Friday’s restaurant and crawled inside. He proceeded to empty out the entire bar. More than 2 million American soldiers have served in the nation's ongoing conflicts, with many returning deeply troubled. ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Have you heard about the Disabled Veterans National Foundation ...
I recently received a personalized coffee mug from the Disabled Veterans National Foundation, they are asking for a donation. I've never heard of them, the only information I can find on them is on their website: www.dvnf.org Is this a scam? Contact the local Veterans Affairs office or the Veterans of Foreign Wars. If you want to make a donation these two organizations will help you in that. Many newly found companies are collecting donations for the veterans but may only use 5 or 10% towards the vets themselves. The other 90 percent is going into salaries.
