Abstract:Job rotation is a commonly used measure to alleviate physical fatigue and stress in the workplace. While much has been written about the potential benefits of job rotation, little information is available from the perspective of assembly line supervisors, particularly with respect to the challenges they face implementing job rotation, assigning employees, balancing the line and maintaining productivity.
