Mozilla Skews the Numbers | Revelations From An Unwashed Brain
It’s not a good thing when the company wants to rely upon a skewing of figures to explain why there are more people using its product than Chrome. The fact is that Chrome is on fire right now, and no matter what the figures you gather are massaged to state, Firefox is not gaining as much ground as Chrome. When you are smaller, the percentages change quicker with smaller overall numbers. Mozilla should expend more time on updates, not trying to explain away trends. [ PC World ] Firefox is beating Google’s Chrome where it counts, in the number of users running each browser, a Mozilla executive argued this week. NEW YORK, Aug 24 (MNI) - U.S. commercial furniture manufacturers said second-quarter business ticked higher than anticipated but warned that the industry's recovery pace may not be sustainable, given expectations of a painfully slow revival in corporate spending and the broader economy. Office furniture makers said sales are for the most part repairing from recession-devastated year-ago figures, led by government and higher education orders. They cheered a bump in demand in the second quarter, but offered mostly moderated forecasts for the balance of the year. Project Management for Construction: The Design and Construction ...
In the planning of facilities, it is important to recognize the close relationship between design and construction. These processes can best be viewed as an integrated system. Hence, construction is the implementation of a design envisioned by architects and engineers. In both design and construction, numerous operational tasks must be performed with a ...

WikiAnswers - How does a construction loan work
As opposed to a home equity loan, which bases the loan amount on the existing value of your home, this type of loan uses the 'after improved' value. It can be a plus for the homeowner who needs more money to fund a home improvement project. The down side is that the loan is doled out to the contractor in payments determined by a bank assigned inspector after a portion of the work has been completed. This basically puts the contractor in the position of funding the project and getting reimbursed by the bank. As a contractor for over 26 years, I have performed 1 contract under these terms and will never do so again. This ...
