Only real measure of success is results, from my viewpoint.....and the only way to measure results is to first have objectives and methods of measurement defined upfront (not elaborate, just defined in a way that results are able to be measured). Then once "change" occurs, insure the same method of measurement is used (no excuses) and determine if the originally defined result actually occurs. Seems simple and easy enough, but it always amazes me how management groups and even executive leadership has a tendency to either dive into change without having this orginal goal for result defined, no way to measure it, or "create" ...
