I've always done my best creative work when my schedule is open-ended -- a full day of solitude, all-nighters in college, etc. Now work and family life intervene and I simply can't isolate myself the way I used to. I'd like to start scheduling regular sessions (e.g. every Saturday from 8-10am, etc.) to work. The problem is, I've never been able to work that way before.
