Some 60 percent of rich people -- that's defined as someone with an average income of $287,000 and an average net worth of $2.1 million -- are connected on social networks. So said the Luxury Institute in a report called " The Wealthy and Web 2.0 ," which surveyed more than 800 of the rich and maybe fabulous. It also found that MySpace rated the most popular, with 16 percent using it, followed by 13 percent for LinkedIn and 11 percent for Facebook. And they're relatively popular people, apparently, with an average of 110 connections, the report said. Internet users this morning would have received a surprise if they tried to use Google Search: Every single query response was tagged with the warning “This site may harm your computer.” Clicking the search result link would provide a dead end error page reading “ Forbidden “, while clicking on the warning link leads to a Web Search Help page.
