Whilst these organisations have great strengths in creativity, planning and campaign delivery, they exhibit fewer strengths online where a host of brand association, experience and conversation takes place. There are others who are better placed to engage and create influence by blog, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter already thrive online. And they are the digital agencies... Brand marketing organisations will have to change So far though, brand owners are reluctant to take digital seriously for brand marketing . Perhaps this is because the techniques for engaging with social media and the metrics for calculating brand performance ...

So what exactly might 'Adaptive Brand Marketing' be? « BBH Labs
” is a welcome turning of the spotlight toward client organizations. Without question agencies of all sizes, shapes and persuasions need to get their collective acts together and transform into leaner, more agile, more creative, & more technology- and data-fuelled businesses. The best in the business are no doubt all plotting how they can come out of this recession leaner, meaner, quicker, better. But that’s kind of pointless unless clients adapt too. We’ve not got hold of the report yet; we’re looking forward to getting stuck in, and are intrigued by the ‘new 4 Ps’ presented in the report: ... market research, surveys and trends
You need kevlar undies these days « ID-ology
We recently started working with a new client and straight out of the gate we’re launching an important promotion and ongoing brand experience that no one either here at ID Branding or there at the client has ever done before. In fact, the more experts I talk to in hopes of smoothing the process a bit, the more I’m finding out that no one has ever done this. Not exactly this way. Great. But this is exactly what the new era calls for. We all better plan on living in a whole lot of uncertainty from now on. Because our audiences out there are demanding that we invent on their behalf, and that means not just the messages ... market research, surveys and trends

Godiva Brand Brief
The Legacy Born out of a small praline-making business run by the Draps family in Brussels, Belgium, Godiva was originally Chocolaterie Draps until Joseph Draps decided he wanted to produce a more exclusive chocolate and open up a chocolate shop. Joseph Draps created a line of chocolates with ”extraordinary richness and design, a collection of passion and purity.” He sought a name that embodied the timeless qualities of passion, style, sensuality and modern boldness. Evergreen guide to green IT guides
Haven’t done a post, recently, on books intended to provide green IT best practices, but noticed a new “open source” title and that prompted me to recap and and revisit some green IT guides I’ve mentioned before here in one post that you can visit when you need to find some refresher information. (I will update this post periodically when I come across new books.) So, here is my virtual bookshelf to some Green IT titles that might be useful for various members of your organization trying to link management to green principles. The new one is first, but otherwise these titles are in no particular order and ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
Buick: Shaking Off the Fogey Factor
off his Chrysler wagon in the late 1970s, John Hershey vowed he’d never buy another American car. True to his word, the retired banker from Manhasset, N.Y., has shunned Detroit for three full decades, opting for Audis and Volvos instead. And after his latest trip to the dealership, he drove home in a luxurious sedan that he says has European styling, comfy leather seats and a quiet ride. It also has something else: a Buick emblem on the hood. These days, Americans who previously saw Buicks only as big, floaty land yachts clogging the slow lane may find themselves doing something of a double take. Hoping to give its ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Is it or is it not possible to create a brand without a product ...
My mini theory is that it is possible to create a brand without an actual product based on the facts that a brand in essence is a construct, and that in this day and age of self actualization the symbolic meaning of brands prevails. Therefore we can build a brand based on a (future) promise. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks in advance.
