Special Report on

Marketing Consultancy and Analytics

marketing consultancy and analytics special research report Photo by www.callcreditmarketing.com
I moderated a roundtable on web analytics, which is one of my main digital passions, so it was good to see analytics was one of the most popular topics. This post summarises the main challenges and gives tips on approaches the managers present are using to overcome them. The Econsultancy peer summits operate according to “Chatham House rules”, so there is no attribution to companies. There was much discussion around how best to cope with “Information overload” and “analysis paralysis”. There was a common need to make subsets of information available to marketers who are non-analytics specialists who don’t use the systems regularly.
a London-based public company. It is a network of 13 specialist companies, with around 26,500 employees working in 80 countries across various research and consultancy disciplines. It was the third largest global market research company in 2001 and fourth in 2002, with annual revenue of about $1 billion. The challenge of identifying target keywords | Econsultancy
It is widely accepted that SEO has evolved from simplistic initiatives such as keyword density and frequency within a page of content. Search algorithms are continually evolving to understand context and attitudes based on advanced semantic analysis. That said, understanding the target keywords of a given web page will always remain a key focus for SEO development. The main principal remains; each page should have a clear and unique theme. When briefed on SEO strategy, content creators frequently ask for a methodology by which they can identify the target keyword for a given page. To this end, over time I have constructed a five ... market research, surveys and trends

The vast and varied online social networks provide market researchers with an efficient and effective new medium to obtain opinions from today’s decision makers, most of whom are more than wiling to share their views. That’s what a study announced today by Anderson Analytics and SPSS Inc. Expand Your CRM System: 3 Paths to More Power
Somebody brilliant once said that CRM systems are frameworks disguised as applications. Many an analyst has said that the best CRM systems are built, not bought. So it shouldn't be too much of a surprise how lean the feature set is in CRM systems -- particularly those deployed as hosted solutions. There's absolutely nothing wrong with deploying a fairly light set of features sooner, so you can start the ball rolling for the all-important user adoption. In fact, that's what we recommend. But if you're successful, the users will clamor for more features -- both depth and breadth. So your imperative will soon be ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Internet Marketing Degree Online and On Campus – School of Business

Has any consultancy successfully combined management consulting ...
I have run two consulting companies with 40ish consultants both entirely virtual - the whole staff fee earning and support being home based. Of course the consultants themselves spent the bulk of their time at client sites just as in the bricks and mortar style of company. The only thing we did differently was to have more frequent social get togethers for small groups but frankly even most of that was done by allowing a more generous expenses policy and letting it self-organise. In both cases we did not make a big deal of it and the client probably only knew if the on-site consultants ever got into informal conversation ...
