I've just landed at a small SaaS Unified Communications company and I'm basically wearing several hats. One of them includes proposing a new lead gen/marketing strategy to the CEO in the next few weeks. The sales team is VERY small, and we're growing....so the typical 'limited time and resources' problem is very imminent, and its difficult to prospect AND close new business all at the same time. Currently, territories are very large and ungroomed so we can't realistically expect a rep to prospect every possible qualified opportunity.
