There I was with a bunch of different kinds of frozen fruit and nuts, and a food processor. What could I do with all that? I thought, well, what about a pie with a nutty crust and a filling of frozen fruit? Indeed, it tasted good, but making the crust was just too much work. I asked myself, maybe I should just mix everything together? And that was the answer – just mash it all together, then freeze it. Amazingly, the pie came out tasting just wonderful! Mixing the nuts right into the fruit actually did taste better. Before we go further, though, I will have to tell you that this recipe requires a lot of strength and a good ...

When Will It Become Illegal to Take ANY Photos of Kids ...
I am engaged in a little campaign to have the TV permanently turned off at the health club child care I attend, based on the AAP recommendations about no media under age 2, etc. One day I showed up a the center and all 12 children were clustered loosely around the wall mounted TV monitors looking up at the cartoon images–a better image of baby birds awaiting their daily feeding from mama bird, I’ve never seen. I snapped a picture with my camera phone (with the intention of sharing it with the club manager to help make my point). No children’s faces showed. While I was working out, apparently a couple of ... market research, surveys and trends
Health Food Manufacturers Association | Natural Green Organic Foods
Last year turned out to be the worst in history for pet food recalls. While there is no way to be 100% certain that a pet food is not tainted or will be recalled, there are some red flags to look for when selecting your dog’s or cat’s food. Avoiding these common pet food ingredients can greatly improve your odds in purchasing a healthy, safe pet food. Judging the safety or the nutritional value of a pet food starts by ignoring the advertising, the price of the pet food, and ignoring the front of the bag. The real signs to the safety of a dog food or cat food lie on the back or side of the bag or can in the ... market research, surveys and trends

Mud in Louisiana's Eye: Jindal and Nungesser Mix a Toxic Recipe ...
Today the Coast Guard took a break from following BP’s orders to chase the press away from BP’s crime scenes, long enough to approve wasting millions of dollars building toxic mud pies that will starve or further poison Gulf wetlands. Yep, the Coast Guard’s throwing a poisoned life preserver to two Republican Louisiana pols who’ve spent years scheming to build a wall of toxic mud pies intended to cut off Louisiana’s wetlands from the tides the wetlands require for survival . Why do the Cajun Canutes say they have to do this? To preserve the wetlands, of course. They have to destroy the wetlands in ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
More Breast Feeding Could Save 900 Babies a Year - CBS News
The lives of nearly 900 babies would be saved each year, along with billions of dollars, if 90 percent of U.S. women breast-fed their babies for the first six months of life, a cost analysis says. Those startling results, published online Monday in the journal Pediatrics, are only an estimate. But several experts who reviewed the analysis said the methods and conclusions seem sound. "The health care system has got to be aware that breast-feeding makes a profound difference," said Dr. Ruth Lawrence, who heads the American Academy of Pediatrics' breast-feeding section. The findings suggest that there are hundreds of ... industry trends, business articles and survey research

Using a grout bag and mortar consistency? - Yahoo! Answers
I have just used a stone veneer product around my fireplace and now need to grout the joints. Does anybody have advice on how to use a grout bag and the consistency of the mortar I would hate to ruin the work so far by doing a bad job on grouting. Thanks LM Noggin, thanks for nothing, enjoy your 2 points. 2 years ago Consistency like mud pies as a kid. Thick enough you can scoop up handful without water dripping through fingers. Grout mixes with water quickly with very little water added which is opposite of mortar that takes lots of water to make it 'muddy'. Mix a small amount (cupful or two) and see if ...
when can you stop using baby products for your little ones?
Mine is almost 2 1/2.  I've NEVER used baby laundry detergent... Tide Free is what I've always used since I refused to buy "special" detergent.  However, I still use baby bath soap, along with baby wipes and pull-ups (we're working on potty training).  Yesterday, I was thinking about switching his soap.  It's great soap, but it might be less expensive if we share.   I really don't have an exact age since I still use plenty of baby items.  But my personal opinion, you are the parent.  No one can tell you how to raise your child.  If you don't want to use baby ...
