They usually arise to fill a void where the marketplace is too slow to act on its own, or the risks appear too high (think decayed downtown). Founders of community-owned businesses don't just see an opportunity that the market failed to see, but in times ...

No longer the red-headed stepchild of Tennessee cities, Clarksville, TN is emerging as one of the most progressive destinations in the South. This is being made apparent to travelers who are on a personal quest to find interesting and unique places which somehow have managed to stay under the radar for southern tourists and even most Tennesseans. 10:10 – progress on our pledges
"I was brought up in a very thrifty household, which is why 10:10 has been reasonably easy for us. My nan wouldn't allow anything to be wasted; even our old bits of soap were collected in a jar and re-formed into a larger piece of soap. She once even made suntan lotion out of soap and vinegar – very unsafe . . . It's funny, but I'm exactly the same as my nan when it comes to soap and shampoo. Every time anybody I know travels, I ask them to bring back the hotel soaps and shampoos. At home, I take these little bottles into the shower and decant them into larger bottles (I just have to be careful so my wife ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

I used to race my single speed schwinn heavyweight against bicycles with gears and never got beat. This Monark however is the smoothest and fastest heavy wieght i have ever ridden. Does anyone know of a club for Monark enthusiasts. I am also interested in Chome or aluminum framed bikes. My father bought me a Monark Black Beauty in 1947 for my birthday. The bike was named after the car comic strip character The Green Hornet drove. It had a Green Hornet logo on the tank and the horn made the sound of ...
Info on old Takara bicycle? - Yahoo! Answers
I have an old Takara bicycle frame I would like to know more about. It was purchased at a yard sale for $10,00. The head bage was removed as well as the frame tubing sticker. The Takara lettering is barely visable. The numbers on the bottom bracket are 365 473310, there are also numbers on the rear drop-out G4 4067.The steer tube has Tange stamped on it. The frame is luged but has stamped drop-outs and fork ends. The only thing still on the frame is a made in Japan sticker at the bottm of the seat tube just above the bottom bracket. There is no model name on the top tube where most bicycle companys put them. If anyone could ...
