Last year, my lady friend and I supported the Walk for Hunger by not only raising the minimum amount for an individual but we also walked it. Though, we didn’t quite make the entire 20 mile walk, we did do 14 miles of it. But this time around, we will make it through the entire 20 miles and we’re looking for sponsors and if you are generous enough you could win advertising here as well as in front of 40,000+ people at the actual walk on May 3rd! I’m pretty last minute when it comes to things like this and I remember last year I did basically the same thing. I waited until the last week to try to get sponsors ...
(1 Stat. 109) into law which proclaimed that patents were to be authorized for “any useful art, manufacture, engine, machine, or device, or any improvement therein not before known or used.” 1 On July 31, 1790, Samuel Hopkins of Pittsford, Vermont became the first person in the United States to file and to be granted a patent for an improved method of “Making Pot and Pearl Ashes.” The Patent Act of 1836 (Ch. 357, 5 Stat. 117) further clarified United States patent law to the extent of establishing a patent office where patent applications are filed, processed, and granted, contingent upon the language and scope of the claimant’s ...

Jerran sat back in his seat and buckled himself in. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity the shuttle slowly moved from a horizontal plane to a vertical one. He must have looked nervous, he certainly felt nervous, because the passenger sitting next to him, a fellow Caldari but, much older turned kindly eyes to him and said.      “First time off world young man?”      “Yes.” Replied Jerran with nervous excitement. “I’m going up to the station to join the Navy!”      “Ah, off to be a soldier eh? Well, I served myself, long ago. Got into business after, less people shooting at you in business, more credits too, less ... market research, surveys and trends

A Famous Internet Entrepreneur In The Making l
As I continue on my slow and steady pace of creating Youtube videos to gain subscribers, views and make money (none of which I have done yet), I have finally narrowed down the video camera I’ll be using temporarily as well as the video editing software. It has taken me quite a while because I had so many ideas and also I didn’t want to shell out a lot of money if I’m not going to fully invest my precious time into, you know? Honestly, I didn’t choose a video camera just yet but rather I’ll just continue using my current Flip Mino as a starter. I’m a completely noob when it comes to Youtube, ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
When The Tide Turns: The Left's Forming a Circular Firing Squad
No matter how inane his ramblings, angry his tone, or absurd his arguments, Keith Olbermann — the host of MSNBC's abysmally rated Countdown program — has always found one place to turn to. For Keith, that place was nothing short of heaven on earth. It was a magnificent fantasy land where legions of fanatically devoted fans would send him a never ending stream of supportive messages and damn anyone who dared question the Magnificent Mr. Olbermann's status as Walter Cronkite's intellectual heir. That place had a name. It was called the Daily Kos , known to most sane Americans as a fringe leftist ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

During the 2007-2008 University Academic year, Blacksburg, VA spent a lot of time discussing issues relating to the ownership of music and other so-called intellectual property. After some threatening emails circulating around the campus, reports surfaced in Virginia Tech's The Collegiate Times that the RIAA had sent 36 threatening letters to the college involving students who they believed had violated copyright protection for audio recordings by using popular means to share music online. Keeping the debate alive, incendiary commentary on the post-Napster musical map penned by iconic WUVT DJ Len Comaratta, a call to ...

What I've learned as a result of my Adsense account being disabled ...
Fist of all, let me say, I'm not a Google employee, I didn't "drink the koolaid" fact, I'm not necessarily a Google fan. I feel if I can relay to you what I've learned since my account was disabled, it might be of value. My account was disabled about a month ago. In fact, I'm still feeling the sting of my account being disabled. I was angry when Google disabled my account, too. I wrote a highly emotional message on these message boards. I was really pissed. I'd "done nothing wrong"...etc. I accused Adsense of being a scam but then I started reading these forums and learning ...
