Reversing pollution trends in Asia. | Asia > East Asia from ...
URBAN and industrial pollution in Asia--a by-product of rapid economic growth--is one of the region's greatest development challenges. A World Bank study argues that environmental protection does not preclude economic growth, provided that concerted policy and investment efforts are made. Asian countries have started to address the issue, but more is needed to reduce today's rising pollution trends. During the last decade, the developing countries of Asia, especially East Asia, have experienced dramatic economic growth, ranging from 6 percent to 10 percent a year. But at the same time, pollution levels have ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Employment Trends in the 21st Century
The problem of unemployment in developing countries during the past half century has been the result of a period of rapid but unbalanced development. The most obvious of these is rapid population growth, which resulted in the tripling of the world's population over the past seven decades. The world's population rose from about 2 billion in 1930 to 2.5 billion in 1950 and 6.6 billion in 2006, a growth of 164 percent. The western attack against Sri Lanka is a global effort. It is an attack instigated by the global minority of western countries with the help of some world institutions hijacked by the west like UNO. Therefore, our counter strategy also must be a global one. The rest of the world, although they are less powerful in the global south, they are the majority of the world. Actually in other words, ‘we are the world’. Why whole world must be hegemonized by a minority in the west? The world must not be controlled by whims and fancies of a minority in Europe. We must organize a consort global attack against European aggression. If we do ... market trends, news research and surveys resources

Northeast Asia
Northeast Asia remains a region of vital importance to the United States, particularly in view of the growing prominence of the Pacific Rim nations as trading partners and as important players in the global economy. Finding freelance work as a proofreader/editor - what has worked ...
I know that I offer an excellent service - all my past customers have said so. However, finding new ones is proving to be difficult! Originally, I sent emails to overseas students at UK universities (targetting the dissertation/thesis market), but I was accused of spamming and had to stop. The same applies to other target groups, such as translators and small businesses run by non-native English speakers. Advertising in newspapers (etc) has proved to be expensive and has produced hardly any results. I have seen questions on LinkedIn relating to the use of Elance and similar services, and the answers are not all that encouraging.
