the hunt for customer insight special research report Photo by
Each year, around this time, we take a look at the most promising ‘on trend’ innovations, as spotted by our sister company Springwise . No surprise, that with the entire world now battling it out in the consumer arena, the amount of talent, of creativity, of innovations, is staggering. Welcome to INNOVATION INSANITY ; -) We all agree that innovation is the only way to survive in an ever more global, competitive business arena. We’re talking basically anything that will get consumers spending, and preferably the kind of spending that involves sustainable goods, services and experiences. And since everyone from ...
What things to Hunt for In Web Content Writing Providers
Content writing is probably the most important element of virtually any online advertising and marketing campaign. Without having web content writing, a firm basically has next to nothing available to catch the attention of search engines like Google and build potential customers. SEO articles could possibly get a web site plenty of interest online, and well-composed articles can build attention from possible consumers. Any time a business makes a decision to outsource to the Philippines for its writing needs, it ought to bear in mind that only a few companies are alike. You will find some details that these types of ... market research, surveys and trends

More » jeepers Dear Gap: I am about to download an app that allows me to "check-in" to your stores without ever stepping foot in them. Yep, it's true and everyone knows it. Survey: Salary cuts on the rise as an alternative to the layoff ...
Like most of you, I’ve been on pretty much every side of a layoff: The planning end, the delivery end, the surviving end and (ultimately) the receiving end. With no disrespect to anyone who has been “idled” in the past few months, I preferred the receiving end to all of the other parts of the process. At least I had some control over my destiny from that point onward. I bring this up because outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas has just released a survey that shows more companies are postponing layoffs as they seek to stablize their costs during this recession. Instead, they are looking at salary ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
Newspapers' poll: Perry has comfortable lead as voting starts
Gov. Rick Perry heads into the start of early voting Tuesday with a comfortable lead over his two Republican primary challengers, but he could be in for a tough November fight against the Democratic nominee, a poll commissioned by the Austin American-Statesman and other Texas newspapers shows. Perry has the support of 45 percent of likely Republican primary voters, while 29 percent back U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison and 17 percent support Wharton activist Debra Medina. Just 8 percent are undecided. The telephone survey was conducted Feb. 2-10, before Medina said important questions had been raised about whether the U.S. ... industry trends, business articles and survey research
The Effective Intranet – Engaging the Employee as Customer
Enterprise intranets are usually created to act as the main conduits for internal collaboration, including content creation / acquisition. But, to-date, most are failing to engage their internal customers: the employees of corporations. According to a 2009 report by Watson Wyatt , only 50% of employees accessed the intranet on a daily basis; 80% said their company’s system needed improvement; and 50% said searching on their intranet was too difficult. Instead of functioning as a framework to access self-service portals and the apps/tools needed to be more productive, intranets are often difficult to navigate, out-of-date, ... market trends, news research and surveys resources
Latest News from the Science Shelf Book Review Archive
I operate on the philosophy that my readers like variety in their books as much as I like to review a broad range of books about or related to science. My past few months of reviewing certainly illustrate that point. I’ll start with a reminder of a book that got a lot of attention and promises to be very influential as Congress considers education reform bills. If you are the kind of citizen who writes to your representatives in congress and senators, please make sure you read The Death and Life of the Great American School System: How Testing or Choice are Undermining Education by Diane Ravitch. Why We Hunt
We spent most of a day in a johnboat on a Mississippi River backwater while he asked penetrating questions and I provided fuzzy answers. He finally observed that my perceptions of hunting were metaphysical—and he was right, supporting Voltaire’s contention that “When the speaker and he to whom he speaks do not understand, that is metaphysics.” I once spoke at a seminar of biologists and offered some general, rather superficial reasons for why men hunt deer. They do so for many reasons, any one of which may be enough. A common one, of course, is the meat reason. The woods are full of people who claim to ... technology research, surveys study and trend statistics

Hi, I am looking for informaiton on what companies have "Customer Plans" for their businesses. We use Zywave and I did at a previous employer. The agency fuel piece is helpful and informative (easier to address the prospect's pain). However, it does not replace networking.
