I am including them here because I am going to take a break from all the theory I’ve been posting the last few weeks, and share a bit of what I have been doing at work. ANN ARBOR, Mich., January 14, 2010 - A survey of a cross-section of North American academic libraries conducted by ProQuest shows that more than three-quarters expect budget cuts of anywhere from 5 to more than 20 percent during their next budget year. But I agree. I do not like how the developers are continually dumbing down the UI for the general populace. I started using Firefox back when it was geared towards power users, and I would like it to stay that way. I don't even fault them for trying to make it more appealing to more people, but is it necessary to alienate the longtime faithful in the process? Maybe it actually is.
