June 11 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. Bancorp, the Minnesota lender, and tobacco company Altria Group Inc. led $7.9 billion of corporate bond sales in the U.S. as issuance fell short of the 2010 average for a seventh straight week. U.S. Bancorp, the sixth-largest U.S. bank by assets, sold $1 billion of three-year debt in its fourth offering this year, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Marlboro cigarette maker Altria issued $800 million of 5 1/4-year notes as it prepares to repay $775 million of bonds this month.
