Sales Goals Or Sales Process, Which Is Most Important? | CustomerThink
Frankly, the question confuses me, it assumes that sales goals and sales process are mutually exclusive.  Geoffrey seems conflicted, as well.  Later, using the example of an Olympic athlete, he states, “For the Olympic athlete, the process leads naturally and progressively towards the goal.” The whole point of a sales process is that it is goal directed.  The best sales processes represent the organization’s best experience in winning business–achieving goals.  The only reason to have a sales process is because it provides us a road map to effectively and efficiently achieve ... market research, surveys and trends
Find Your Zebra: Watch Your Sales Skyrocket | Small Business Trends
by Jeff and Chad Koser (Greenleaf Book Group Press, 2009), came highly recommended, and I was sent a review copy by the authors’ Vice President of Marketing, Christine Ullman. The book arrived in a box wrapped in funky zebra wrapping paper, with a personal note from Chris.  As someone who does P.R. for a living, and who has reviewed many books, this really stood out.  Give this woman a bonus! Google Wins China Permit Renewal, Defusing Standoff
July 9 (Bloomberg) -- Google Inc. said it won the renewal of its Web-service license in China, defusing a six-month standoff with the government over censorship that threatened the company’s operations in the world’s biggest Internet market. “We look forward to continuing to provide Web search and local products to our users in China,” the company said on its blog today.
