When we hear Sales Strategy we often think of our marketing department and their strategy to position what we are selling.  As sales reps and sales managers we don’t often think of ourselves as strategists, but we should.  Creating a successful Sales Strategy will allow sales managers and their sales team to focus on the right customers, in the right ways, and at the right times. Deere reports $547 million in 2nd quarter profits
(updated 9 p.m.) Fueled by increased farm machinery sales in several corners of the world, Deere & Co.’s profits rose 16 percent in the second quarter. In its earning report released Wednesday, the Moline-based Deere announced it posted a net income of $547.5 million, or $1.28 per share, for the second quarter, which ended April 30. That is up from $472.3 million, or $1.11 per share, for the same period a year ago.
