Software tool for material and energy flow calculation and analysis based on graphical modelling of process systems. It has been developed by ifu (Institute for Environmental Informatics) in cooperation with ifeu (Institute for Energy and Environmental Resarch) since 1993. Based on the concept of material flow networks, the powerful calculation algorithm of Umberto allows to determine all material and energy flows in the system under study. The user can define the system boundaries and can analyse the flows by "zooming" into the hierarchical model and the desired level of detail. Both site/process-oriented as well as ... technology research, surveys study and trend statistics

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
If evolution doesnt happen, what do evolutionary biologists do ...
Your professors study evolution on a micro scale. There is not way to study it on a macro scale because there at NO creatures that show a change from one species to another. Each creature is distinct to its own kind and not a cross breed of two in order to show a transition. Small changes occur daily to go with our fluctuating environment. Major defects occurs but most do not pass on (ie hermaphrodites - unable to reproduce....donkeys - cross between horse and mule - can't reproduce either). I thing that they have a lot of good that they have and can continue to accomplish but on a macro scale is waist of their ...
Mac or PC -- which do you use and why? | LinkedIn Answers | LinkedIn
Mac is my preference, and at our photography / webdev studio, we have both (because my programmers like Windows, and we train photo techs to be fluent on both). Windows machines always have some glitch happening, or something not compatible. Often, the PC components fail, and then the replacement isn't compatible, etc. Yes, Macs cost a bit more, when you compare to really high quality machines that are ready to roll, with all the extras included, and great included software, without bloatware. I think that if you factor in time mucking around, and your time is worth more than minimum wage, the "total cost of ownership" is ...
