Eat Dance Live: Home Sweet Home
you clever bloggers manage to keep posting while you travel and/or are really busy. I just can't keep up with everything and had to take a blogging break. Though I still have no wi-fi, I just wanted to quickly say that we have all safely (and miraculously) made it across the border safe and sound. I don't know how we managed to fit plants + people + pets + stuff in one car and make it here all in one piece. We didn't even run into too many problems with border control (luckily, our plants came from Canada originally so they were allowed to come home). The funny thing was our license plate was from no other state ... market research, surveys and trends

The owner of Marvin's Organic Gardens in Lebanon won a contract from the world's largest retailer to compost food waste from as many as 160 of its stores in Ohio. It's a major feat for the organic farmer, who founded the 75-acre operation in 1999 with a plan to dedicate one third of his land to composting. Duren opened his organic farm the same day he sold his franchise of 24 local Waffle Houses. It'd been a dream since he completed a degree in agriculture from the University of Georgia in the 1970s. How to keep flys/maggots out of green food waste recycling bin ...
Aside from regular cleaning, the bin is swimming with maggots a few days after garbage day. I keep it outside of my garage. I won't keep it inside because of the smell and I'm not really a big fan of maggots falling out into the garage. I had a composting bin for about 10 years, but then I removed my garden (too much work, no time) so no need for compost. Then the city introduced the food waste recycling program so we need to use the green bin in lieu of home composter. 2 years ago Pressure wash the green wheelie after it's next emptied so that you start with a clean bin, then make certain that any ...
