Silica Cat Litter | Crazy Cat Videos
Silica cat litter is likely one of the latest types of cat litter on the market. What makes it completely different is that it could possibly absorb and “dry” many occasions its weight in liquid, and thus tremendously reduce and even eradicate cat box odor. You simply put litter within the cat field to the depth of about one inch. Because the cat makes use of the field, the liquid waste is absorbed and then “dried” in order that no smell stays and the letter itself stays dry. Solid waste is principally “petrified” and is eliminated usually by scooping it out and flushing or disposing of it. ... market research, surveys and trends

EcoWaste Coalition is a public interest network of community, church, school, environmental and health groups pursuing sustainable solutions to waste, climate change and chemical issues facing the Philippines and the world. Managing rubbish to live comfortably
The government hopes to implement by 2013 a proposal to make it compulsory for household waste to be segregated through designated rubbish bins. No addition fee will be charged, but those who fail to do so will be fined. Theoretically, it is not a good practice to force people change their attitude by imposing penalties, but, the, it is not easy to implement a new regulation without imposing fines Singapore is a good example. Modified Dry Litter Waste Management System
The most critical issue facing Hawaii’s livestock segment of our agricultural industry is developing and implementing cost effective pollution prevention technology. Unlike their U.S. mainland counterparts, Hawaii’s farmers are faced with higher land costs, higher cost of materials and supplies due to transportation expenses and highly sensitive and unique ecological zones of the islands. Our neighboring Pacific-Basin island nations face the similar concerns in their insular island environment. A national revolution to improve the quality of our environment is upon us. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Corn cat litter question | Ask MetaFilter
And aside from the kitten occasionally deciding the scattered bits of litter are food, it's going quite well. But how 'flushable' is this litter? After using the clay litter for so long, I hadn't even considered just flushing the new litter (either the clumps or the poops.) Then this morning I noticed the giant 'Flushable!'graphic and have been wondering exactly how well this works. Have you tried it? Has it worked for you for a long time now? Do the clumps actually flush, or just the solid poops with little litter attached? If this works out, I'd be happy to save the extra trash bags, not ...
Waste Management: Specific Weight of Material, kitty litter, clay ...
Hi, I have to move a substantail amount of materials to our recycling area. I need to know what has more weight per volume, Kitty Litter, or Salt? I appreciate your help and thanks! Answer Hi Blanchjoe, Well, this is a question I have never been asked before. I have to admit it did make me chuckle. I'm not sure I have enough information to properly answer this question for you. When you speak of kitty litter are you referring to the clay product that is used to clean up a spill or are you referring to the kitty litter used in the litter box? If it is the material used in spill cleanups, then that has more weight than salt. ...
