Campbell County officials have asked the Supreme Court of Virginia to overturn a $9 million judgment made in a lawsuit alleging the county landfill leaked, polluting the well water of an adjacent mobile home park. The petition to the state’s highest court argues that Circuit Court Judge Michael Gamble misapplied state and federal environmental laws.
